First I'd like to thank you for sending me the bigger size shot of your wall. I applied it this morning before I headed off for work. Then I got home and saw your New Beginning wall, I really like that and I'm going to switch to that one, but I'll keep the green light one for another time. It's getting so I like black walls and I'm starting to make a wall with a black background that will probably take forever for me to finish, but I'm working on it!

I hope what I said didn't sound offensive. I didn't mean for it to be. What you were saying reminded me of SPC Thomas Wilson's complaint to Rumsfeld about the lack of armour for protection in Iraq. I thought your suggestion, as was his, was quite valid. I imagined that's what you might have been given for a response. The sarcasm was directed towards administration, and in hindsight, probably shouldn't have been made. I understand our frustrations, but I'm sure they are frustrated as well. Maybe this thing has taken off with a little more gusto than they thought it would. It seems the site is becoming more personal, too. And I admit, I like it that way. It gives us all more avenue's of learning, either about desktop customization or the human race. Anyways, I hope you didn't take what I wrote as if it were directed towards you. It wasn't.

Hey, Dragon!! I JUST read my guest book this morning before heading to work and noticed that you signed it! A couple of days ago! I don't usually look at it because, well, to be truthful, you are my first guest! Heh! Thank you!
Well, I've heard a little of the Clapton/BB cd but I don't actually have a copy! Can you believe that? They both have so many of them! But I have had that one on my mind to get. I saw Clapton in the early 80's, but I JUST got to see BB last year! I thought it might be his last year touring and figured I better get myself to see him before he stops! I can't believe I waited so long! It was a huge treat. Actually better than seeing Clapton. Personality wise, I think BB's got it all over Eric! Just my opinion! My favorite cd's of Clapton are live ones. I love the unplugged performance and have learned to play a couple of the tunes from it. I also adore the George Harrison/Clapton live in Japan cd from a few years ago (I can't remember the year!)
I started playing the guitar when I was a kid. I actually went electric in my early twenties, but have now gone back to mostly all finger picking accoustic. I own a copy of the Clapton Martin. I also have a "79 American Strat, a '76 Gibson Les Paul Custom, a fairly new Tex/Mex telecaster, and a couple of other cheapies. However none of those look like any of the icons I've made, except the Martin. I tried to turn my own digital pictures of my guitars into icons but they came out even worse the the ones I dared to upload to the site!
This skinning stuff is alot of fun, but there's a lot to learn!! I don't know that I'll ever get it right! But I keep plugging away, just out of pure curiosity.
Anyways, I appreciate the support that everyone gives around here. It seems like a very nice community.
I hope I haven't talked your ear off! I'm usually quite a busy lady in my life (husband, 2 sons, dog, cat, and I'm a preschool teacher), but was quite excited to see that someone signed my guest book! Heh! And I certainly won't be doing alot of skinning, but I'm curious enough to want to continue to improve and try some more. I am just fascinated by it! My friends think I'm nuts! Heh!

That Thread on Wallpapers with TSF was interesting, I have had some personal dealing with TSF, and have NOT found him to be a very plesent person. Oh well, it takes all kinds. Apparently he knows a good artist when he sees one.
